http://thedigitalpimp.net/2009/08/filtering-traffic/The way I see it there two main ways of filtering traffic. You can filter down from one website to another or you can filter down internally in a website.
When using multiple sites to filter traffic you start with something general like tits, then link to another site that has big tits or maybe a list of big tits categories. From there you filter down to say, teens with big tits, then blond teens w/ big tits, then specific models or sites with blond teens with big tits. Always filter down and a good rule of thumb is to offer exactly what you say you do. If you say in a link title 'Big Titted Blond Teens!' then that's what you need to have.
You can use a sidebar for this if doing blogs or use a money bar on SE pages or other sites.
When filtering internally on one site you can start as general as you like and use categories to filter down. The reason I'd not use very general categories or niches with multiple sites is you never want the surfer more than three clicks from what they want. Some surfers have little patience and with filtering down internally it's much quicker than with multiple sites.
