Since I've already dealt with this on my webmaster blog I'm just posting the link here. Info on hosting and suggested hosts.

I can highly recommend Certified/Nakedhosting. They helped me with the few issues I had above and beyond (including issues with a 3rd party script, setting up a custom php.ini for me, and helping setup my nameservers via ICQ/AIM/Whatever protocol it was) and never complained about me hammering the servers in September when I was getting 35-40k pageviews a day on my (legal) tube site =). I even went over my 300GB bandwidth allotment and they temporarily raised my limit so as to prevent suspension due to running out of bandwidth =)

I have a reseller account with them and will definitely be looking into there semi- or dedicated servers.

Here is links to them, ref and noref:

Heh. This forum is actually on Certified hosting but it was Naked before.....I was skeptical about the change but so far I haven't noticed too much downtime. It's been loading slow sometimes, too, but compared to other forums it's pretty fast.

Still, not sure I would put them on my top five list for hosting just yet.
